Some phrases in the Talmud introduce an objection to the previous statement, while others offer support for it. Some phrases prove a point, while others resolve a problem. "Ta Shma" - which means "come and hear" - can introduce any of these. This same open-endedness characterizes every Ta Shma program. Regardless of where our participants are coming from or where they're going, Ta Shma provides them an engaging, pluralistic Jewish learning experience that remains with them, whatever path they may pursue. |
